Hello, I am the PR person in charge of Rakuzo Utage Akasaka-mitsuke store.
Our shochu selection is as varied as the sake we import from all over the country.
We offer everything from sweet potato, barley, rice, brown sugar and awamori.
In this issue, we will introduce some seafood snacks that go well with shochu, along with some seafood snacks that go well with shochu.
We have a wide selection of shochu, including the classic "Kurokirishima", the sweet potato shochu "Koku-Imo", "Umi", and "Ikkisha", as well as "Mitake", which is brewed with water from the 100 best waters, and "Tominohozan", which sparked the shochu boom.
For barley shochu, try Enma, Nanjakanja, or Kami no Kawa.
There is also a rice shochu called "Hakudake Shiro," a brown sugar shochu called "Rento," a shiso shochu called "Kakotan," and for awamori lovers, "Zanba Black," making it a fun choice to match the dish or your taste.
We have over 50 varieties of shochu, some of which are rare and hard to find, and you will be captivated by them every time you visit.
The "seared vinegared mackerel" is a gem of a dish in which the seared effect gives the skin a savory aroma.
The vinegar is perfectly adjusted to give the dish a mild taste, and it is full of richness and flavor. It has a flavor that is second to none when served with highly aromatic sweet potato shochu.
The freshness of the fish is even more pronounced when paired with a glass of rice shochu.
