Kalbi, Misuji, what parts of the body are often heard of? | Rakuzo Utage Akasaka-mitsuke

Hello, I am the PR manager for Rakuzo Utage Akasaka-mitsuke.

When you check the menu, you may see "kalbi" or "misuji" in the meat section. Do you know which parts of meat are called "kalbi" and "misuji"? In this issue, we will introduce some parts of meat that you may or may not know.

 

Where is the familiar "Kalbi"?

Since it is often sold in supermarkets, "kalbi" has become a familiar part of meat. As the word "kalbi" means ribs in Korean, kalbi is the meat near the ribs. It is characterized by a layer of fat and lean meat, which gives the meat a delicious yet very juicy flavor. Beer goes down a treat.
