Hello, I am the PR person in charge of RAKUZO-Chofu South Exit Store.

In addition to the grand menu, which can be ordered at any time of the year, the restaurant offers "Seasonal Recommendations" using ingredients that are in season at that time of the year. Spring delicacies from the mountains and the sea in a bite

A popular dish that allows you to enjoy spring delicacies from the mountains and the sea all at once is "Deep-fried Spanish Mackerel and Bamboo Shoots" for 759 yen (tax included). Spanish mackerel is a representative fish of spring, as the name "fish" means "spring" in Japanese. At this time of year, Spanish mackerel is plump and tender, and the sweetness of its refined fat is very delicious. Combined with freshly dug out bamboo shoots, you can enjoy the three textures of "crunchy", "fluffy", and "firm".

The delicious taste of the first bonito

Bonito is in season twice a year, in spring and fall. Spring bonito is called "Hatsukatsuo" (first bonito), and it has a lighter, less fatty taste than in the fall. The "Seared Bonito Tataki" (979 yen, tax included) is made by quickly searing fresh bonito over high heat to lock in all of its flavor.
