Enjoy the texture and sweetness of seasonal snacks


The northern seawater octopus is in season in summer. It is also known as an octopus that grows quite large. Often eaten boiled in salted water, the water octopus is served fresh as sashimi. The soft flesh is thinly sliced and served with plenty of condiments and ponzu (Japanese sauce made from ponzu citrus juice). The crunchy texture and moderate sweetness are elegant, and the condiments give it a cool, summery taste. Try this dish, which is perfect with sake and other drinks.
