Hello, I am the PR manager for Ebisu Higashiguchi Ekimae Branch of Rakuzo Utage, a private room restaurant.

It is said that seasonal foods contain many nutrients necessary for the season. Have you enjoyed seasonal foods this summer? Our restaurant offers a "Seasonal Recommendation" menu with seasonal ingredients for each season. Currently, you can enjoy our summer recommended menu.

Today, we would like to introduce a selection of dishes from our recommended summer menu to beat the heat.

 

Easy to eat even in summer when appetite tends to decrease

Cold sudachi soba noodles with plenty of condiments/750 yen (tax not included)

The first item introduced here is "Cold Sudachi Soba with plenty of condiments" using "sudachi," which is in season in summer. It is an easy-to-drink dish with a refreshing aroma and a light taste.

Some people's appetites may decrease during the summer, so please try this refreshing sudachi soba.

 

Try the vitamin-rich bitter melon.

Goya Chanpuru with pork and tofu/750 yen (excluding tax)

Next, we will introduce "Bitter Melon Champuru with Pork and Tofu," which has a peculiar bitter taste that is addictive. Bitter melon is also an ingredient that comes into season in summer, and its vitamin C content is noteworthy. It is said to contain about five times as much vitamin C as tomatoes, and more than kiwis, which are often associated with high vitamin C content.

Vitamin C is said to help regulate the immune system.
