There are many delicious foods in Kyushu, and our restaurant offers many local dishes from various regions of Kyushu so that you can enjoy the delicacies of each region. In this issue, we have selected dishes from Miyazaki, Oita, and Kumamoto to introduce.

Chicken Nanban" is a dish that Miyazaki is proud of and is popular nationwide for its delicious taste. In the authentic Miyazaki style, we serve crispy fried chicken with a sweet-and-sour sauce, topped with a generous amount of thick tartar sauce. The balance between the sweet and sour sauce and the richness of the tartar sauce is so delicious that once you try it, you will become addicted to it! It goes well with not only beer, but also lemon sour and shochu. It is also recommended for hungry people with its large volume.

For those who want to enjoy chicken with a rich flavor, "Chicken Nanban" is recommended, but for those who prefer a lighter taste, how about Oita's "Toriten"? Chicken meat tends to become tough when deep-fried, but by marinating it in salted malt before frying, we have devised a way to make it soft and fluffy. This is a simple and easy to try technique at home, so please give it a try.

Oita's toriten is crispy and refreshing with grated ponzu (Japanese sauce made from grated ponzu). It goes well with sake.
