This is "Sashimi of Nagasaki Sea Mackerel". This is sashimi of the fatty mackerel from off the coast of Nagasaki, which is in season at this time of year. The plump meat is very chewy, and the flavor of the season's mackerel will spread in your mouth as you bite into it. It is an excellent seafood dish to be served with shochu or sake.
