Hello, I am the PR person for Rakuzo Kanda Ekimae.

Our restaurant receives fresh seafood from the market every day, which our artisans carefully prepare and serve to our customers one by one.

In this issue, we would like to introduce three dishes from the menu that we particularly recommend you to try. All of them are dishes that showcase the skills of our artisans. We hope you will enjoy them.

Deep-fried fatty mackerel with leek and lemon grated onion 693 yen (tax included)

Thick-fleshed autumn mackerel is softly cooked with exquisite heat to produce this deep-fried Tatsuta. The inside is fluffy and the outside is crispy and savory. Because fresh mackerel is used, there is no smell.

Enjoy with plenty of grated daikon and a squeeze of lemon.

 

Elegantly fragrant with miso! Excellent, grilled red fish with saikyo!

Saikyo-yaki grilled red fish 715 yen (tax included)

Red fish, characterized by its tender flesh, is marinated in Saikyo miso and grilled. The flavor of the red fish is seasoned in just the right balance so as not to spoil its flavor.

Enjoy the luxurious harmony of the refined Saikyo miso with a little sweetness and just the right amount of saltiness, and the fine red fish.

 

The skin is savory! Seared and vinegared mackerel is perfect with sake or shochu!

Seared vinegared mackerel 935 yen (tax included)

This dish is made by searing vinegared mackerel, which is delicious eaten as it is, over a burner to a golden brown. The fatty mackerel is seared to add a savory flavor, making it a dish that goes even better with sake.

Serve with wasabi or lemon, if desired.
