Hello, I am the PR person for Rakuzo Kanda Ekimae.

How is everyone doing in the latter half of August? The summer heat is still continuing, but if you want to enjoy a meal while staying cool, please come to Rakura. We have private rooms where you can relax and a wide selection of creative Japanese cuisine.

Today, we would like to introduce our "Seasonal Recommendations" menu, which is offered seasonally.

Sashimi of Mizunasu eggplant / 759 yen (tax included)

During the hot season, many people prefer a refreshing accompaniment to alcoholic drinks. In such cases, "mizu nasu no sashimi" is recommended. Enjoy this seasonal mizu-aubergine sashimi that has been quickly marinated in white soup stock. The fresh taste will advance both food and sake.

Vinegared boiled conger eel and Sanriku wakame seaweed / 649 yen (tax included)

Next up is the "Vinegared simmered conger eel and Sanriku wakame seaweed," which allows you to enjoy the conger eel in season. The acidity of the vinegar enhances the flavor of the conger eel. One bite of this dish will surely make your chopsticks go faster. We hope you will enjoy it.

 

Crispy fried dishes

Hamo Katsu (hamo cutlet) with grated plum paste ponzu sauce and sansho salt / 979 yen (tax included)

Lastly, we would like to introduce "Hamo Katsu (hamo cutlet) with Ume plum paste and grated ponzu sauce and sansho salt", a deep-fried dish that can be served with a refreshing taste. The crispy hamo cutlets are served with a dip of ponzu (Japanese plum sauce with grated radish) and sansho (Japanese pepper) salt.
