Hello, I am the PR manager for Rakuzo Kashiwa.

We are now approaching the middle of October. Some of you may be working hard in a new environment starting this month, but have you been able to refresh yourselves appropriately?

Relaxation is necessary to maintain mental and physical health. Our restaurant offers delicious drinks, delicious food, and a relaxing atmosphere. We hope you will use our restaurant as a place to take a break from your daily routine. In this issue, we would like to introduce our popular fried food menu, which we recommend as an accompaniment to alcoholic beverages.

The texture of the yam encourages drinking!

This dish, "Deep-fried Hokuhoku yam" is simply deep-fried yam. The simplicity of this dish makes the flavor of the ingredients come alive, and its rustic taste is very popular. Squeeze lemon on top of the yam to add a sour taste, if desired. Please enjoy it with shochu or sake.

Try the juicy "Tatsuta-age"!

This is "Wakadori no Tatsuta-age (deep-fried young chicken). Tatsuta-age" is a dish named after the Tatsuta River in Nara Prefecture. The difference between "tatsuta-age" and "karaage" is that "tatsuta-age" is battered and deep-fried. It is seasoned with mirin (sweet cooking rice wine) and soy sauce, so it can be enjoyed as is. It is also served with a squeeze of lemon, if desired.
