Hello, I am the PR manager for the Kyoto Ekimae branch of Rakuzo Utage, a private room restaurant.
While the restaurant offers fresh seafood and creative dishes that reflect the chef's sense of taste, another feature of this restaurant is its extensive menu of sweets. In this issue, we would like to introduce some of the authentic sweets we boast.
The "Ogura An An French Toast" is a popular volume menu item that is considered one of the most satisfying of our sweets. The combination of Japanese and Western flavors of Ogura-an (sweet bean paste) and vanilla ice cream is a delicious gem. We are often praised for our French toast, which is so popular that some customers say they don't feel like they have finished their meal without it.
Why not enjoy chocolate not only as a sweet by eating it as it is, but also as a snack with alcohol? The smooth texture and gentle sweetness of "Mottochiri White Raw Chocolate" is so delicious that you could eat as many pieces as you like. Please try it with white wine or whiskey.
Did you know that sweets are now available on our limited-time menu for a taste of autumn? The fall menu will be ending soon, so if you haven't had it yet, please take this opportunity to try it.
There are two types of limited time offerings: Sweet Potato Tart and Hazelnut Gelato. Both are highly recommended: the hearty sweet potato tart and the hazelnut gelato that cools down your body after a hot day of drinking!
