Hello, I am the PR manager for the Kyoto Ekimae branch of Rakuzo Utage, a private room restaurant.

Our restaurant is unique in that anyone can easily enjoy a private room banquet. All seats in our restaurant are private rooms, so even small groups can enjoy eating and drinking without worrying about their surroundings. We can accommodate banquets of up to 40 people.

Private rooms ideal for Kyoto dates and business entertainment

We have a private room with a sunken kotatsu for two that is perfect for date night use and a private room with a sunken kotatsu for four that is suitable for entertaining or dining.

Although you may have an image that a completely private room is a bit intimidating, our izakaya is only a 2-minute walk from Kyoto Station, and all seats are completely private rooms. Of course, we welcome small parties as well!

We can also accommodate large banquets.

The restaurant also has a private table-type room that can accommodate up to 40 people. The spacious seating arrangement makes it ideal for company banquets, welcome and farewell parties, and social gatherings. In addition, we also have a private room with a sunken kotatsu that can accommodate up to 32 people, ideal for reunions and joint parties.

For smaller banquets, please use the private rooms with sunken kotatsu for 12 persons. The sunken kotatsu private rooms allow you to stretch out your legs and relax, so you will not get tired even during long banquets! Please enjoy your banquet to the fullest in a private room suited to the number of guests and the content of your gathering.
