A blissful evening in Kannazuki, savoring seasonal delicacies in a private room

Hello. I’m the PR representative for Rakuzo Utage Kyoto Station Branch, where every seat is in a private room.

October brings deeper hues to the trees, marking the arrival of the harvest season. Today, we’d like to introduce our signature menus—the “Carefully Selected Course” and the “Four Seasons Kaiseki Course”—highlighting the classic flavors crafted from seasonal ingredients and the luxurious experience of dining in a private room.

The Essence of Signature Dishes That Reflect the Season

Our signature menu places great emphasis on bringing out the natural flavors of our ingredients to the fullest. Our selection of dishes, inspired by October’s seasonal bounty, is carefully crafted one by one by our chefs, who place great importance on capturing the essence of each season. For example, our “Select Course,” which features a generous use of carefully selected ingredients, is designed to let you fully savor the bounty of the season—from the appetizer to the dessert. We go beyond simply creating delicious dishes; we also pay close attention to the beauty of the presentation and the harmony with the tableware, offering dishes that are a delight to the eyes as well. Even our signature dishes undergo subtle seasonal adjustments, ensuring you’ll discover something new with every visit. Our cooking methods highlight the unique character of each ingredient, allowing the umami to unfold with every bite and delivering an experience that nourishes both body and soul. We invite you to take your time and savor our signature dishes, each showcasing the masterful skill of our chefs.

Deepening Conversations About Food in a Private Room

Our restaurant is entirely comprised of private rooms, and we offer the ideal space for groups ranging from 2 to 14 guests. Although we are conveniently located right in front of Kyoto Station, once the door is closed, you’ll find yourself in a tranquil space, completely isolated from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. This private setting is ideal for focusing on the aromas of the dishes and their delicate presentation, serving as the perfect backdrop for deeper conversation with those seated across from you. The interior, designed to preserve traditional Japanese aesthetics, features subdued lighting and the warmth of wood, creating an atmosphere that relaxes both the mind and body of our guests. Whether it’s an important business dinner, a family celebration, or a gathering with friends, our restaurant’s strength lies in providing a serene atmosphere where you can enjoy your meal in any setting. Experience the luxury of spending time just for yourselves in our private rooms, which offer the perfect balance—neither too spacious nor too cramped.

Seasonal Stories Woven Through Our Banquet Menus

We offer a wide variety of banquet courses to suit your budget and occasion. In particular, the “Four Seasons Kaiseki Course”—true to its name—features a eight-course menu that allows you to experience the changing seasons right at your table, making it the perfect choice for gatherings on special occasions. Furthermore, the sense of togetherness that comes from sharing a hot pot makes it the perfect choice for spending long autumn evenings. With the “White Offal Hot Pot Course” and “Taiwanese Offal Hot Pot Course,” sharing fresh ingredients and passing the pot among friends naturally sparks lively conversation. All courses include a 2-hour all-you-can-drink plan, and you can upgrade to the “Standard” plan (featuring about 60 varieties) or the “Premium” plan (featuring about 100 varieties). Since the course meals are served in a carefully planned sequence—from appetizers to desserts—it offers peace of mind for the event organizer, and a major benefit is that all participants can enjoy the experience together at the same time. A variety of dishes featuring seasonal ingredients will add a touch of elegance to your gathering.
