Hello, I am the PR person in charge of Rakuzo Utage Kyoto Ekimae Store.

 

Suddenly, is there anything you are particular about when choosing a restaurant? Our restaurant is particular about various things, such as carefully selected excellent sake, a private room where you can relax, and an extensive drink menu. Today, we would like to introduce some of our specialties.

 

Dashi is the key to "Dashi-scented dashimaki tamago (rolled egg)".

Dashimaki Tamago (rolled egg) is a popular menu item. Of course, we are particular about the "dashi" (soup stock). We use the highest quality soy sauce made from whole soybeans, the best quality dried bonito flakes and mixed flakes from Makurazaki, Kagoshima Prefecture, and dashi broth made from Hokkaido kelp. The result is an aromatic and flavorful dashimaki tamago.

 

Fresh seafood tastes better with our special soy sauce!Oh my god!!!

Fresh seafood is sent to us daily from the fishing ports. We are also particular about the soy sauce that complements the seafood. This mild-tasting soy sauce is made from underground water from the Hakkouda Federation and natural salt from Shark Bay, a World Heritage site.

 

Precious authentic shochu "Mitake

The island of Yakushima is rich in ancient nature. This authentic shochu is brewed using one of the best water filtered through virgin forests and carefully selected Kagoshima-grown sweet potatoes. When you sip it, you will enjoy the slight aroma of sweetpotato and a hint of sweetness. Please enjoy Mitake, a valuable authentic shochu with a small annual production volume, at Rakurakura.
