Hello, I am the PR manager for the Kyoto Ekimae branch of Rakuzo Utage, a private room restaurant.
After enjoying a full range of drinks and snacks, our restaurant offers a rice dish as a finishing dish.
The final dishes range from hearty to light, so please enjoy your favorite dish.
Many people decide to finish off a drinking session with ochazuke. Ochazuke is a light and refreshing dish that is perfect to finish off a night of drinking. In addition to the two basic types of ochazuke, "Ume" and "Salmon," we also offer a slightly unusual ochazuke with a flavor called "Nori Tsukudani and Tenkasu.
Try ume (plum) when you want a refreshing taste, salmon when you want a rich seafood flavor, or "nori tsukudani and tenkasu" when you want a change of pace. The chazuke is served at 539 yen (tax included).
The special soy sauce-based sauce is applied over and over again, taking care not to damage the rice, and the rice is grilled to a golden brown over time. When you put it in your mouth, the savory smell will fill your mouth. You will also enjoy the slightly browned texture of the rice.
It is a simple but time-consuming dish that you may not have a chance to eat at home. We offer it for 539 yen (tax included) for 2 pieces.
