Hello, I am the PR manager for the Kyoto Ekimae branch of Rakuzo Utage, a private room restaurant.

 

Our restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes made with meat and fish. Among our many dishes, our seared seafood menu is especially popular among sake and shochu drinkers.

Feel the fatty flavor of today's kama-yaki

Kama," as it is known in grilled tuna, is the part of the tuna adjacent to the "otoro" or "big fatty tuna. Therefore, it is characterized by its abundant fat, similar to that of the big fatty tuna, and is marbled. We offer "Today's Kama-yaki" for 825 yen (tax included), which is made from the freshest fish available that day. Please enjoy the delicious fatty taste of seasonal fish.

 

Sake or Shochu and seared squid with sweet and spicy sauce

It is baked with plenty of sweet and spicy sauce, reminiscent of festival stalls. Because the squid is fresh, it is not too soft, but has a nice crunchy elasticity. Served with mayonnaise on the side. 869 yen (tax included).

In addition to the items introduced here, we also offer a variety of other seared seafood dishes, such as "Aburi-shibari saba (mackerel)" (1,199 yen (tax included)), in which the skin is grilled to a savory perfection.
