Rakuzo Utage has restaurants all over Japan. You can enjoy our delicious cuisine anywhere, but did you know that there is a menu available only at our Matsumoto Ekimae branch?
Today, we would like to introduce a number of limited menus that are unique to Matsumoto City, where our restaurant is located.
 

Matsumoto City's local delicacy, "grilled chicken thigh with bandits

Nagano Prefecture and Matsumoto City are famous for their local cuisine, such as soba noodles and oyaki. Another local dish that is just as famous is "Sanzokuyaki". Sanzokuyaki has been popular since the 1945's and 1960's, and is served at our restaurant as well.
Our Sanzokuyaki is marinated in a garlic sauce, so the flavors soak in perfectly! The texture is also great because it is freshly fried! It is the perfect accompaniment to beer! We hope you enjoy this dish.
 

Sashimi of Shinshu salmon" that melts in your mouth

Shinshu salmon is a crossbreed of two species with different characteristics: rainbow trout and blunt trout. Its meat is characterized by its strong flavor and thick flesh.
Shinshu salmon is made into a sashimi. The melt-in-your-mouth texture and rich flavor make this dish irresistible.
 

Recommended for the end of the meal! Nagano Chicken Eggs on Rice with Tamagokake (Rice with Eggs)

And to finish off the meal, we highly recommend the "tamagokake gohan" (rice with egg), which is made with eggs from Nagano Prefecture.
Eggs from chickens raised in the wilds of Shinshu. It has a wonderfully refreshing yet full-bodied flavor. Please be sure to order this very satisfying dish to finish off your meal.
We also offer "Horse Sashimi" and "Nagano Wine & Sake". We hope you will enjoy these exclusive tastes that you cannot find anywhere else.
