Nagoya specialties are available at Rakuzo Utage Nagoya Taikodori Exit.

Hello, I am the PR person in charge of Rakuzo Utage Nagoya Taikodori Exit Store.

Many of you may be visiting Nagoya over spring break. In addition to our chef's original dishes, we also offer many Nagoya specialties. We hope you will enjoy them as a commemoration of your visit to Nagoya. In this issue, we would like to introduce some of the Nagoya specialties available at our restaurant.

Eating it with miso sauce is the Nagoya way.

Miso Kushikatsu

Eating kushikatsu with sweet and spicy miso sauce is the Nagoya way of eating kushikatsu. The rich miso sauce goes great with sake. Be sure to order it as a delicious meal or snack. The miso sauce soaked into the crispy fried batter is a must-try!

Soft until it melts in your mouth.

Dote stew

Here is another dish with miso sauce. Dote-nikomi is a dish in which beef motsu is slowly mixed with miso sauce. The moment you put the dish in your mouth, the beef motsu will fall apart as softly as if it were unraveling. The flavor of the motsu is brought out to the utmost limit, making this dish an excellent choice for both drinking and eating with chopsticks.

Best balance of savory and spicy

Fried chicken wings

Many people may think of fried chicken wings when they think of Nagoya specialties. These crispy, savory wings are popular among all ages, from children to adults. The spicy flavor is perfect with beer.

Popular as a closing dish.

Hitsumabushi

Hitsumabushi is popular when you want to eat well, but many customers also choose it as a finishing dish. It is a satisfying dish with plenty of chopped eel. Please enjoy it in many different ways, such as with yakumi (condiments) or as chazuke (rice with tea leaves).

Our restaurant is conveniently located just a minute walk from JR Nagoya Station. Please stop by as a starting point for your trip to Nagoya or as a closing point of your trip to Nagoya. We look forward to serving you.
