Hello, I am the PR person in charge of RAKUZO Nippori.

What kind of food do you eat when you drink alcohol? Sashimi, pickles, meat, etc., but fried food is one of the most popular items on the menu, and is a staple at drinking parties.

We also offer a variety of fried food items on our menu. Please feel free to order them to accompany your drinks.

 

Please try our specialty "Tatsuta-age"!

This is "Wakadori no Tatsuta-age" (deep-fried young chicken). At first glance, it looks like fried chicken, but the difference is that it is battered and deep-fried. The name "Tatsuta-age" comes from the fact that the chicken looks like petals floating on the water and splashing in the Tatsuta River in Nara Prefecture where the chicken is fried. The chicken is seasoned with mirin (sweet cooking rice wine) and soy sauce, so it can be enjoyed as is, or with a squeeze of lemon for a different flavor.

 

I'm glad to see the chewy texture.

This menu item, "Deep-fried Hokuhoku yam" is simply deep-fried yam. The simple cooking method allows the flavor of the ingredients to come alive. If you like, you can squeeze lemon juice on it to add a sour taste and make it even more delicious.
