I would like to recommend that those who come to Sendai in November or later should bring warm clothing. Heavy jackets and coats are essential, and some days you may even want to bring a scarf and gloves. Illumination in Sendai

In the autumn foliage season, there are more and more tourist spots where you can enjoy illuminated foliage at night. However, it is still a cold season, and as we approach Christmas, illumination lighting ceremonies will be held in many places, and many places in the Tohoku region will be decorated with beautiful illuminations until early January of the new year! Jozenji Dori
The Jozenji-dori Illumination, which celebrated its 31st anniversary in 2016, is a spectacular illumination spot with approximately 600,000 LED bulbs decorating 160 zelkova trees along Jozenji-dori, impressing all visitors. Aoba Ward, Sendai City.
Sendai Trust City
The entire city was decorated with about 55,000 LEDs, and the area in front of Trust City Plaza and on the Yanagimachi-dori side was covered in a very beautiful, mature, champagne color, which attracted many visitors last year. Aoba Ward, Sendai City.
