29" reminds me of a play on words from my childhood. It reads "Nijyukyu," but if you look at it quickly, it is "meat. In fact, the label has an even greater impact: steak meat is printed on it. This shochu was developed as a drink that makes meat dishes more delicious, and is made from rice. It is characterized by its fragrant aroma, which is said to be that of Yakusugi (Japanese cedar). The brewing barrels are said to be made of Yakusugi cedar. Please enjoy the aroma of Yakusugi.

 

Born in Asakusa in the Meiji Era
