Our chef's best seasonal dishes! 4 dining menus to enjoy the summer season

Hello, I am the PR manager for RAKUZO Sendai Aobadori.

 

Japan has four seasons, and nature shows us different faces in each season. Ingredients are one of them. At Rakura, we pursue seasonal delicacies. We offer a selection of "Summer Recommendations" that we hope you will enjoy during this season.

 

Eel dishes to beat the heat

Many of you may have eaten eel on the day of the Ox in Doyou. Nutritious eel is an appropriate food for this season when the weather is hot and people lose their appetite. We have prepared "broiled eel skewers" at our restaurant.

We serve fluffy grilled eel marinated in a rich sauce. The fat of the eel and the sauce intertwine in your mouth, creating an irresistible taste. We hope you will experience the marriage of quality and taste.

 

The chef has put a lot of effort into this excellent dish.

Our seasonal menu is still available. We have prepared an elegant dish of hamo (Japanese conger eel), a typical summer dish, called "Hamo Katsu (hamo cutlet) with plum paste, grated ponzu sauce, and sansho salt. The hamo cutlets are crispy fried to make them easy to eat. The crispy yet rich flavor of the ponzu goes well with the plum ponzu sauce with grated ume plum paste.

We have also prepared "Medai no Kombujime - Yakumi Wagyu Steak" that goes perfectly with sake and shochu, and a hearty "Kuroge Wagyu Lean Meat Steak". We hope you will experience the true flavor of the season with our meals.
