朝晩の冷えがつらい季節になってきましたね。こんな季節には体のあたたまるものを積極的にとりたいですね。今の季節におすすめなのが熱燗です。熱燗というとどうしてもおじさんのイメージがあるでしょうか。
熱燗は寒い時期にしかできない、期間限定の日本酒の楽しみ方でもあります。熱燗で日本酒を飲むことにより、香りがより広がり、シャープなキレが味わえます。

熱燗におすすめなのは純米酒と本醸造酒

純米吟醸酒や本醸造酒など日本酒には、お米の精米具合と作り方によっていろいろな種類がありますが、熱燗におすすめなのは純米酒か本醸造酒です。どちらも精米度合いが70％以下と磨きが少ないため米本来の味がしっかり味わえるお酒です。熱燗にすることにより、本来のお米の香りと切れ口のよさがより引き立ちます。
逆に精米度合いが高い純米吟醸酒や特別本醸造酒はフルーティーな香りとまろやかな口当たりが特徴なので、冷やや冷酒がぴったりです。

当店の日本酒で熱燗にぴったりなのは、「八海山」と「一ノ蔵」の本増醸酒。特に「浦霞」は全国熱燗コンテストでも金賞を受賞している日本酒です。
