Hello, I am the PR person in charge of Rakuzo Utage Shibuya Ekimae Store.

Spring", the season for cherry blossom viewing, has arrived! Our restaurant offers recommended dishes and banquet courses for each season. Currently, dishes using ingredients that are in season in spring are now available! Today, we would like to pick up a few of our spring menu recommendations and introduce them to you.

 

Seasonal cabbage and yodore-dori (a kind of Japanese chili pepper) make for a great drink!

Yodarechicken -Salad with seasonal cabbage/630 yen (w/o tax)

What is a "Yodare Chicken"? Many of you must be wondering, "What is Yodarechicken? Yodarechicken" is a dish commonly eaten in Sichuan, China. This dish is finished with a sauce made with sansho, an essential ingredient in Chinese cuisine, Korean chili peppers, sesame seeds, garlic, and other ingredients. The accent of the pepper is addictive. Enjoy Yorodarechicken with seasonal cabbage.

Echaletto and seared fried bean curd in okaka soy sauce / 450 yen (tax excluded)

Next up is "Echaletto and Seared Oage in Okaka Soy Sauce," which uses shallots that are in season in spring. Please enjoy the texture of the crispy shallots and crispy seared fried bean curd with dashi soy sauce.
