Hello, I am the PR manager for the Shinagawa Konan-guchi branch of Rakura Utage, a private room restaurant.

We are an izakaya (Japanese style bar) with private rooms for all customers. We have a variety of private rooms, large and small, and can prepare a private room that is just the right size for the number of people in your party, whether it is a date or a girls' night out.

All private rooms are separated by walls and doors, so you can enjoy chatting and eating without worrying about what is going on around you. The seats are sunken kotatsu type, so you can sit comfortably without having to bend your legs like in a tatami room. It is the perfect place to rest your tired feet after a day of illumination.

One of the most popular Christmas illuminations in Shinagawa Ward, where we are located, is the Tokyo Mega Illumination. The romantic atmosphere of the illumination is perfect for a date during this season. It is already underway this year and will run until Sunday, January 11, 2026!

It takes about 12 minutes by car from our restaurant to the Oi horse race track where "Tokyo Mega Illumi" is held. Since the restaurant is located in an easy-to-stop-by location, we hope you will use it as a place to have dinner before or after your illumination date.
