Hello, I am the PR manager for Rakuzo Shinjuku East Exit Store.
Our restaurant focuses on "seared" dishes. We are proud of the many dishes that are brought out to their full flavor by the "aburi" method. This is "hokke dried overnight. Hokke caught in the northern sea are dried overnight and seared to bring out their flavor. The hokke meat loosens when you put your chopsticks into the hokke, and the delicious flavor spreads in your mouth as you take a bite. This easy-to-eat, fatty hokke is the perfect accompaniment to sake. Enjoy every bit of its deliciousness.
This is the "Surume squid seared with sweet and spicy sauce". It is a dish in which squid is slowly seared sweet and spicy, and you can enjoy the firm texture of the sliced round squid. The sweet and spicy taste goes well with sake, and it tastes even better if you squeeze lemon or dip it in mayonnaise. Please enjoy it with sake or other drinks.
