Fried foods and drinks go perfectly together! | Rakuzo Utage Shin-Yokohama

Hello, I am the PR person in charge of the Shin-Yokohama branch of Rakuzo Utage, a private room.

Fried dishes are a staple at izakaya (Japanese style pubs) and are available at all restaurants. They go very well with beer and other drinks, and are highly recommended when you want something rich. However, because of this, all izakaya put a lot of effort into their fried dishes, and it is difficult to choose one over the other.

Our deep-fried dishes are popular at our restaurant, and are prepared by our chefs. We are particular about the seasoning and frying conditions. We hope you will try our fried dishes and experience our commitment to quality.

 

We are proud of our "Tatsuta-age"!

This is "Wakadori no Tatsuta-age (deep-fried young chicken). Tatsuta-age" is a dish named after the Tatsuta River in Nara Prefecture, and the difference from karaage is that it is battered and deep-fried. Not only does the flavor of the young chicken come alive, but it is also seasoned with mirin and soy sauce, so it can be enjoyed as is. We recommend squeezing lemon for a refreshing taste.

 

Have you ever had monja croquettes?

This is the "Special Monja Croquette. It is a creative menu item born from the bold idea of making croquettes out of monja, a Tokyo specialty. The salty flavor of the monja and the crispiness of the croquette make a perfect match with beer or a highball! Please try it when you come to our restaurant.
