We have a large selection of shochu! We have a large selection of shochu ranging from clean and crisp to fruity and easy to drink. Today, we would like to introduce our sweet potato shochu and barley shochu from among our wide variety of shochu. Please enjoy it with our signature dishes.
Let's start with the sweet potato shochu "Umi". This shochu is made from Beniotome grown in Kanoya and brewed with yellow malted rice used for sake. Low-temperature fermentation and reduced-pressure distillation give it a fruity sweetness and a refreshing taste.
It has a reputation for being easy to drink even for those who do not like potato shochu because it does not have the distinctive smell of potato shochu. It is a brand that even those who do not like potato shochu should try. Please try it on the rocks!
Nanjakanja is available in both barley shochu and rice shochu, but we offer barley. It is made with highly refined barley, Aso underground water, and rice for the malted rice, and finished with ultra-low-temperature, reduced-pressure distillation. Please enjoy the sharp and soft taste.
Bottle sets with ice, oolong tea, soda, cut lemon, and dried plum are also available to further enrich the taste of shochu. Enjoy your favorite shochu on the rocks, with soda, or in many other ways.
Umi to Nanjakanja is included in the premium all-you-can-drink menu, which offers approximately 110 different types of alcohol and other drinks. We have a variety of shochu such as sweet potato shochu "Ikkisha" and "Tomino Hozan," barley shochu "Kami no Kawa" and "Enma," brown sugar "Lento," and more.
