Fresh fish with a twist to make it even tastier!

Hello, I am the PR manager for RAKUZO Toyama Ekimae.

Do you like fresh seafood? While serving it as it is is the best way to directly enjoy its deliciousness, we also recommend that you add a little extra effort to bring out even more of its flavor. In this issue, we would like to introduce some seafood dishes that have been made even tastier by adding a few extra touches.

 

Limited time flavor!

The "Season's Recommendations" menu is available for a limited time only, but we are now offering a seafood menu that adds a little more flavor to our current summer menu. Have you tried the "Kombujime (Sea bream) with Yakumi (condiments)" yet? The kombujime (kelp-dressed) medai is a protein-rich dish with an elegant sweetness and flavor, and the kombujime process gives it an even deeper flavor. Please enjoy it with refreshing condiments. It is even more delicious when served with sake or shochu.

 

A touch of searing

The key to making sakura saba (vinegared mackerel) delicious lies in the ingredients. By using fresh mackerel, you can create a refreshing taste without any odor. The "Aburi Harimizushi Saba" is made by searing the mackerel before serving. The surface of the mackerel is quickly seared to enhance the aroma. The delicious fat inside the mackerel is also brought to the surface so that the mackerel's delicious flavor can be enjoyed from the moment you put it in your mouth. We recommend the "Aburi-shibari saba" with sake or a refreshing lemon sour.
