Hello, I am the PR person in charge of Rakuzo Utage Ueno Ekimae Store.
We are particular about our shochu and sake drinks, and offer premier shochu that is said to be hard to find.
We also have snacks, dishes, and hot pot that go well with shochu, so shochu lovers are welcome to visit us.
This time we would like to introduce our special shochu.
We offer premier shochu such as "Mitake", "Umi" and "Lento".

Mitake (Imojochu)
Mitake" is a shochu produced on Yakushima Island, also known as a World Natural Heritage site, and is one of the Satsuma shochus.
Drinking it raw, the sweet aroma of sweet potatoes spreads on the palate while the taste is relatively light.
When served with water, it becomes lighter and easier to drink, and when served with hot water, the sweetness unique to sweetpotato shochu is emphasized and gradually spreads in the mouth.
Umi (sweet potato shochu)
Although it is a sweet potato shochu, it has an unctuous sweetness, a clear aroma, and a refreshing throat sensation.
This potato shochu is very popular among girls because of its drinkability.
Careful fermentation and "reduced-pressure distillation" achieve this refreshing taste.
