Mitake" is a potato shochu made on Yakushima Island, which has been registered as a "World Natural Heritage" site. Yakushima Island has abundant annual precipitation and clean water suitable for making shochu. Mitake" made in such a place is popular for its mild taste and aroma, and can be enjoyed in various ways, such as on the rocks, with water, or with hot water. If you have never had this sake, we hope you will give it a try.
