This is "Wakadori no Tatsuta-age (deep-fried young chicken). Tatsuta-age" is a dish that is said to have gotten its name from the way the batter and meat look when fried, which resembles the petals and splashes of water floating on the Tatsuta River in Nara Prefecture. The difference between "karaage" and "karaage" is that "karaage" is battered and deep-fried. It is also served with a base of mirin or soy sauce, so it is delicious as it is. You can also enjoy a change of taste by squeezing lemon juice on it if you like.
