Tatsuta-age" is a dish like this


This is "Wakadori no Tatsuta-age (deep-fried young chicken). Tatsuta-age" is a dish named after the Tatsuta River in Nara Prefecture, and differs from karaage in that it is battered and deep-fried. It is seasoned with mirin (sweet cooking rice wine) and soy sauce, so it can be enjoyed as is. It is also served with a squeeze of lemon, if desired.
