A Sophisticated Dining Experience in a Private Room That Delivers the Perfect Food-and-Wine Pairings

Hello. I’m the PR representative for Rakuzo Utage Akasaka-Mitsuke, a restaurant featuring all-private-room seating.

It’s that time of year again when the Mid-Autumn Moon begins to gently illuminate the night sky. Today, we’d like to suggest a way to enjoy our restaurant by helping you find the perfect pairing from our extensive menu to suit your tastes and solve any dining challenges you may have.

The Art of Course Design: Eliminating Indecision When Choosing a Course

Many event planners find themselves struggling to decide which course to choose for banquets and group dinners. To address this challenge, our restaurant offers a clear lineup of courses tailored to your specific purpose and budget. For example, the “Taste Course” and “All-Chicken Course”—both consisting of eight dishes—feature well-balanced menus that provide peace of mind, even for first-time diners. Additionally, the “White Offal Hot Pot Course” and “Taiwanese Offal Hot Pot Course,” where guests gather around a hot pot, are ideal for gatherings that prioritize a sense of togetherness. Furthermore, our prestigious plans—such as the “Four Seasons Kaiseki Course,” “Sukiyaki Course,” “Japanese-Western Fusion Course,” and “Ultimate Kaiseki Course”—provide excellent support for creating the perfect atmosphere on special occasions. From appetizers to dessert, the meticulously crafted course menus—carefully planned by our chefs—eliminate the hassle of choosing dishes and guarantee a dining experience that will satisfy every guest.

Exploring the Harmony of Flavors with an All-You-Can-Drink Plan

When it comes to pairing drinks with food, the selection available under an all-you-can-drink plan is crucial. At our restaurant, we offer an extensive lineup—including approximately 60 varieties in our “Standard” selection and about 100 in our “Premium” selection—creating an environment where guests can choose the perfect drink to complement their meal each day. For example, you can flexibly switch drinks to match the flow of the meal—pairing a light beverage with the early courses and a full-bodied one with main dishes like hot pot or meat dishes. This high degree of freedom is the key to discovering your “very own marriage of flavors,” which goes far beyond a simple all-you-can-drink experience. Even at large group banquets, when each guest tries their own preferred pairings, it broadens the scope of conversation and allows everyone to enjoy a fulfilling experience that satisfies their curiosity about food.

The Focus on Food That a Private Space Brings

To fully savor the art of food and drink pairings, the surrounding environment is essential. Our restaurant is entirely comprised of private rooms, featuring sunken-heated-table seating that can accommodate groups ranging from 4 to 40 guests. This private space allows you to focus on the interplay between the dishes and drinks before you without worrying about the gaze of other guests. In particular, our sunken hearth seating minimizes strain on your legs even during long meals, allowing you to dine in a relaxed posture and fully appreciate every nuance of flavor. Whether for important business negotiations, a special anniversary with a loved one, or a gathering with close friends, this tranquil space enhances the dining experience in every situation. Please make use of our private rooms as a place to forget the hustle and bustle of the city and fully immerse yourself in the harmony of our cuisine.
