Blissful Moment] Introducing the charm of sweets filled with attention to detail.

Hello, I am the PR manager for the Kyoto Ekimae branch of Rakuzo Utage, a private room restaurant.

Here we introduce the flavors and characteristics of three exquisite desserts filled with the charms of Japanese, Western, and Korean countries that will add color to your after-dinner moment.

Authentic sweets recommended for adults only

The Belgian Chocolate Mousse Cake (539 yen) is a must for chocolate lovers.

The chocolate is richly flavored with world-renowned Belgian chocolate, and the taste is extremely rich and elegant.
You can enjoy the texture of a smooth mousse that melts easily at the temperature in your mouth. The rich aroma of cacao and the bitter, not-too-sweet richness are in perfect balance, making it a perfect ending to a night of drinking without feeling too heavy.

Strangely nostalgic and warm taste

Hotteok -Korean Oyaki- (539 yen), a popular Korean street snack in Japan, is served hot and fresh.

It is characterized by its sticky, elastic dough and the gentle sweetness that overflows as you bite into it. The crispy outer layer contrasts with the chewy inner layer, creating an addictive sensation.

A perfect match for the place called Kyoto.

The last item is a Japanese sweet: green tea strawbutter cake with green tea ice cream (605 yen).

This is an assortment with a rich Japanese flavor that brings out the best of matcha green tea. The soft and fluffy texture of the rice cake is covered with a generous amount of highly aromatic matcha powder, which gives it an elegant bitterness and sweetness that fills the mouth. The cold matcha ice cream adds a pleasantly cool sensation.
The softness of the warabimochi combined with the smoothness of the ice cream allows you to enjoy to your heart's content the deep richness unique to matcha green tea. The vivid green color is beautiful to the eye, and is recommended as a dessert for an evening of sightseeing in Kyoto or at the end of a Japanese course.
