Hello. I am the PR person in charge of the Matsumoto Ekimae branch of Rakuzo Utage.

March is almost here. Even though spring is near, there are still cold days ahead. Shochu is probably the drink you want to enjoy during this time of year. A glass of shochu, which is full of the flavor and deliciousness of its ingredients, is sure to warm you up from the inside out.

We have devised a way of eating that stimulates all five senses.

At Rakuzo Utage, which is dedicated to shochu, we not only select the best brands, but also devised a unique way to enjoy shochu. Try it by the glass first.

The advantage of a transparent glass is that you can see the color of the shochu itself. It is a pleasure to drink shochu by checking the color and the way it becomes cloudy, depending on the ingredients, such as barley or rice.

We also have shochu (Japanese liquor) suitable for toast!

Many of you must have a full schedule of farewell parties and banquets planned for next month. How about a "Shochu Soda" as a toast drink? It is a gorgeous drink with bubbles rising from the soda. We have prepared a variety of shochu sodas, including the Sakura Shiranami High Ball, which combines the sweet potato flavor of Sakura Shiranami with soda.
