What Are Some Unexpected Ways to Use Private Rooms? Exploring the Hidden Charm of These Spaces

Hello. I’m the PR representative for Rakuzo—all-private-room restaurant—Okayama Honmachi Branch.

With the intense heat continuing day after day, we’re really starting to feel the height of summer these days. There’s nothing more luxurious than escaping the sweltering heat outside to spend time in a cool, air-conditioned room. In this article, we’ll explore the unexpected possibilities offered by our “all-private-room” dining experience and share tips on how to make the most of it.

The Unexpected Focus That a Private Space Brings

The reason we’re committed to providing private rooms for every table goes beyond simply ensuring privacy. By blocking out prying eyes and background noise, we create an environment where you can fully immerse yourself in conversation with the person across from you and savor the subtle flavors of our cuisine. For example, whether you’re holding a business meeting or dining with friends you want to talk to at length, this enclosed space fosters an astonishing level of focus. In this space—where tranquility and calm coexist, setting it apart from the typical open-concept izakaya—you may find yourself having deep conversations you wouldn’t normally have, or sparking new ideas. In this space that feels like your very own private castle, please take your time to deepen your conversations to your heart’s content.

A wide variety of private rooms to choose from, depending on the number of guests

Our private rooms are carefully designed to accommodate various group sizes. In addition to several private rooms for four guests, we offer rooms for six, sunken kotatsu seating for up to eight, as well as spacious private rooms for 14 guests and even one that can accommodate up to 32 guests—ensuring we can meet a wide range of needs. What’s particularly noteworthy is that even with large groups, the private room setting remains intact. A major advantage is that even during large-scale banquets, you can maintain your own private space without mingling with other groups. From small dinners to medium-sized workplace gatherings and group events, we provide the ideal space for any number of guests, ensuring a comfortable experience in every situation.

How to Choose an All-You-Can-Drink Plan Wisely

Choosing the right all-you-can-drink plan is key to making the most of your time in a private room. We offer the “Standard” plan, featuring a selection of about 60 varieties, and the “Premium” plan, which boasts an extensive lineup of about 100 varieties. What many people don’t realize is how much your satisfaction can vary depending on which plan you choose. For example, if you want to savor a specific brand at your leisure, choose the Premium Plan; on the other hand, trying a wide variety of drinks to spark conversation is another great way to enjoy your time. Additionally, by pairing these plans with our various set menus, you can ensure transparency in your bill while maximizing your enjoyment within your budget. In the special setting of a private room, please choose the plan that best suits you and enjoy a carefree, delightful time.
