A luxurious moment spent relaxing in a private room, away from the late-summer sun

Hello. I’m the PR representative for Rakuzo—all-private-room restaurant—Okayama Honmachi Branch.

I can feel the late-summer sunlight gradually transforming the cityscape. We’d like to introduce our unique way of spending time here—a chance to escape the daytime heat and rejuvenate both body and mind in a serene setting.

A Commitment to Space Design That Prioritizes Privacy

What we value most at our restaurant is creating an environment where guests can truly relax without worrying about the stares of others. By maintaining a style where every seat is in a private room, we ensure that you can preserve your own special time, no matter the situation. For example, whether you’re having a conversation with someone special or holding a business meeting—anytime you want to focus and share quality time together—this enclosed space plays a vital role. Distinct from the typical open-concept izakaya, our restaurant is chosen by many guests as a place where tranquility and calm coexist. Step away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and deepen your conversations to your heart’s content in a space that feels like your very own private sanctuary. This private environment is the greatest value we offer and sets us apart from other establishments.

Ways to Use Our Variety of Private Rooms Based on Group Size and Purpose

Our private rooms are designed to accommodate a wide range of needs, from small groups to large parties. In addition to several private rooms for four guests, we offer a variety of options, including rooms for six guests, sunken kotatsu seating that can accommodate up to eight guests, as well as spacious private rooms for 14 guests and others that can seat up to 32 guests. What’s particularly noteworthy is that even with large groups, the private room setting remains intact. A major advantage is that even during large-scale banquets, you can maintain your own private space without mingling with other groups. From small dinners to medium-sized workplace gatherings and group events, we provide the ideal space for any number of guests, ensuring a comfortable experience in every situation. Securing a private space enhances the quality of conversation and creates a more fulfilling experience for everyone.

Tips for Choosing a Course to Get the Most Out of It

We offer a wide variety of set menus to suit your budget and occasion. For example, the “Tasting Menu” and “All-Chicken Menu,” both of which include a 2-hour all-you-can-drink option, are great value and perfect for casual gatherings. If you’re looking to treat yourself to a slightly more luxurious experience, the “Carefully Selected Course” (9 courses) or the “Four Seasons Kaiseki Course,” which captures the changing seasons, are excellent choices. Furthermore, if you’d like to strengthen bonds while sharing a hot pot meal, the “White Offal Hot Pot Course” or the “Taiwanese Offal Hot Pot Course” will create a warm and lively atmosphere for your gathering. Whether it’s the 7-course “Sukiyaki Course” or the “Japanese-Western Fusion Course,” which blends the best of Japanese and Western cuisine, choosing the perfect plan based on your guests and the occasion will help make your gathering an even more memorable experience. You can also choose between “Standard” and “Premium” all-you-can-drink plans to maximize your satisfaction while staying within your budget.
