As the chilly winter winds blow, what unexpected discoveries await in a private room?

Hello. I’m the PR representative for Rakuzo—all-private-room restaurant—Sendai Aoba-dori Branch.

It’s that time of year when the chilly winds blow through and the leaves fall from the trees lining the streets. Today, we’d like to share some unexpected ways to make the most of the space we offer at our restaurant, as well as some insider tips that only those in the know are aware of. We’ll reveal how our all-private-room setting can enrich your time with us.

The Unexpected Serenity of a Private Room That Feels Like a Hideaway

Although located on the bustling Sendai Aoba-dori, the moment you step through our door, you’ll find yourself in a surprisingly serene Japanese-style space. Our concept of offering only private rooms serves not merely to shield you from the outside world, but to create a setting where you can fully immerse yourself in your own world. In particular, our private rooms with sunken kotatsu tables allow you to stretch out your legs and relax, easing physical tension and naturally sparking lively conversation. This tranquility provides the perfect setting for important business meetings or deep, meaningful conversations with close friends. Forgetting the hustle and bustle of daily life and spending time in your very own private hideaway is truly a luxurious experience. Because our spaces are protected by walls and doors, you can relax to your heart’s content without worrying about prying eyes—this is one of our restaurant’s greatest strengths.

A Space Puzzle You Can Customize to Fit Your Group Size

The interior design of our restaurant reflects a meticulous attention to detail, much like a puzzle. We offer a wide range of seating options, from private rooms designed for small groups—such as one private room for 6 guests, one for 8, and one for 4—to sunken-heated-table private rooms, including one for 4 guests, one for 2, and one for 12, one sunken-heated-table private room for 10 guests, one for 5 guests, and two for 10 guests—we offer a wide range of meticulously partitioned seating options. This diverse selection allows us to maintain the ideal sense of distance, ensuring guests never feel cramped, yet the space is never so vast that conversation becomes distant. Furthermore, by utilizing our private space for 50 guests, even large groups can share time together in the same space without losing a sense of togetherness. We take pride in being able to provide a comfortable atmosphere suited to any occasion by selecting the ideal private room based on the number of guests.

Courses and All-You-Can-Drink Plans: How to Use Them Wisely

When planning a banquet, managing the budget is a major challenge for the organizer. At our restaurant, all banquet set menus include a 2-hour all-you-can-drink option, ensuring transparent pricing. For example, options range from the “Ajiwai Course” at 4,300 yen (tax included) to the “All-Chicken Course” at 4,800 yen (tax included), the “Carefully Selected Course” at 5,300 yen (tax included), the “White Offal Hot Pot Course,” “Taiwanese Offal Hot Pot Course,” the 6,300 yen (tax included) “Four Seasons Kaiseki Course” and “Sukiyaki Course,” and the 7,300 yen (tax included) “Japanese-Western Fusion Course”—each with clearly defined price ranges and menus. In addition, you can choose from all-you-can-drink plans: the “Standard” plan (approximately 60 varieties) for 2,145 yen (tax included) and the “Premium” plan (approximately 100 varieties) for 2,695 yen (tax included). By clearly defining these options, we’ve created a system that allows you to choose the best plan for your gathering’s purpose and budget without hesitation. One of our restaurant’s greatest strengths is the private atmosphere of our individual rooms, where guests can focus fully on their meal and conversation without worrying about their budget.
